Jane Bumpus Nielsen is the Executive Director of the Bumpus Gallery and the granddaughter of Helen McBurnie Bumpus who began the gallery in 1968. Jane has juried for the Scituate Art Association, created Plein-air workshops for the Marblehead Art Association and won various design awards for her gardens. She began a garden design business called "Healing Gardens" in 1996, and recently wrote her first book about her adventures in Healing Gardens. Her book, Journey Through the Garden, is available on Amazon.com.
