Every year since 1980 the Board of Directors has presented the Conant Award, which gives special recognition to one of the artists whose works were shown in the gallery during the year.

The Helen Bumpus Gallery aims to assist younger artists by periodic exhibits showcasing the work of students and those in the first stages of their professional careers.
